Due to disruptive changes in the automotive industry, it is vital that all members of an organization cooperate effectively. Conflicts between smart people and important departments should not obstruct the best solution. 

If R&D and Marketing do not agree requirement specifications in a timely manner then consequently last minute expensive changes are necessary. Anecdotally, teams in the USA never raise concerns – until the assembly belt comes to a halt. External partners do not understand the bigger picture. Some frictions become obvious at an early stage. Often, nobody reacts until it is too late.
